Pattern pressed into the metal. Not printed on it, not coated over it.

Every cuff in this collection starts flat. A sheet of 99.9% recycled copper goes through under pressure until the pattern is sunk down into the surface itself, which is why there's nothing here to peel, flake or wear thin at the edges. Run your thumb across one and you can feel it.

Then the color, which is the part people don't expect from copper. It's darkened by hand and stopped early, so instead of going flat brown the surface keeps shifting through rose, green, gold and violet depending on how the light hits it. Nobody can aim that process precisely. That's why no two come out alike.

One rule for all of them: wash, don't polish. The color is a thin layer sitting in the bare metal with no seal over the top, so water is no threat at all. A soft toothbrush, a drop of Dawn dish soap and warm water, rinsed well and dried completely. What undoes it is abrasion, so keep polishing cloths, metal polish, jewelry dip and steel wool away from these. That one doesn't come back. More in our copper care guide, or see care by material.
