She finds the plates herself at auctions, thrift stores and estate sales, then cuts them down by hand. A soft spray of pink blooms and muted blue-gray foliage sits on warm ivory, the kind of pattern that lived on somebody's table for years. Hand cut, shaped, sanded and polished to a smooth sealed finish. No two pieces exist like this one.
